first_imgFounded in 1945, LACSA (orLineas Aéreas Costarricenses S.A) was Costa Rica’s flagship airline.LACSA eventually became a member airline of TACA (Transportes Aéreos Centroamericanos), which 10 years ago merged with Colombia’s Avianca.The LACSA brand — and its catchy slogan, nos encanta la gente — is no more, though a handful of flights do operate today under the “Avianca Costa Rica” name.
